A complex of unique islands in the northern Aegean Sea | Unlimited opportunities

Ideal for island hopping holidays – Explore Skiathos, Skopelos, Alonnisos, Skiros and many other smaller uninhabited islands.

One of the greatest sailing destinations in Greece is Sporades, a group of islands in the Northern part of the Aegean Sea. Sporades islands are wonderful to explore: The natural beauty of Skiathos, Skopelos, Alonissos and Skyros will surprise you. Distances between the islands are short, so hopping from one to the next is easy.

The weather is typically amazing from May until mid-Autumn in October with mild winds and plenty of sunshine. There are many places to visit at the four main Islands Skiathos, Skopelos, Alonissos and Skyros as well as the plenty of bays and beaches to discover in the smaller uninhabited islands like Kyra Panagia. In the northern part of the island complex is the National Marine Park of Alonissos and Northern Sporades, a protected natural reserve for terrestrial and marine wildlife including the cutest seal of all, the Mediterranean Monk Seal Monachus Monachus.

You can reach these islands by plane directly to Skiathos from many European airports, by ferry from Volos and Thessaloniki or you can simply drive to Thessaloniki or Chalkidiki and start your sailing adventure from there!

Discover Chalkidiki

chalk

Pine forests, olive groves, a coastline of spectacular beauty and crystal clear water - This is how we would describe Chalkidiki in a short but very accurate way.

Chalkidiki is probably the most popular destination in the northern mainland Greece. However ,this doesn't mean overcrowded places at all. Chalkidiki has a place for everyone, whether you fancy a cosmopolitan holiday, or a relaxing holiday away from the crowds, just you and the nature. Chalkidiki combines everything someone would like in their summer holiday, sandy beaches, crystal clear waters, isolated bays great local food, nightlife, outstanding landscapes for on-shore activities, archaeological sites, religious sites and anything else you can imagine.

The weather is simply amazing during the summer. It 's quite normal to hear from locals(with a dose of overselling) saying that it never rains in Chalkidiki in summer!

And in case you get a good taste of Chalkidiki and want to keep exploring, Sporades Islands is just 40 NM from Nea Skioni, just 6-8 hours sailing.

One of the biggest advantages of Chalkidiki is the ease getting there. Thessaloniki airport is less than an hour away from the middle of Kassandra or Sithonia by car. If you are entering Greece by car anyway that's even better - no need to get into a plane or ferry. Just drive up to your preferred port or marina and you are ready to sail!
